Riding School
We offer riding lessons both for beginners and advanced riders.
Students study every aspect of horse riding, combining practical riding lessons with sessions on topics such as horse care and grooming, nutrition, anatomy and physiology, psychology and communication, equipment, competition rules and judging, the history of riding etc.
During practical lessons, instruction is tailored to the needs of students, who advance from basic level to competitive. The riding school has a stock of detailed lesson plans. Some sessions take place in classrooms and are taught using teaching aids such as films, slides, games etc.
The riding school is open all year round. The hottest and coldest months of the year are utilized mainly for classroom studies. Many lessons include practical work with the horses, including leading, knot-tying, grooming and preparing the horse for riding. Advanced riders take part in horse training.
Most students take part in a year long program which meets once a week for 45 minutes.
Instruction is given in small groups of between two and five riders, divided according to age and level.
